Terms of Service

Telegram Bot App provides an AI-powered content moderation bot for Telegram groups. Our service automatically detects and acts on spam, NSFW content, toxic messages, profanity, threats, and other unwanted content using machine learning models and computer vision technology.

The service includes a web-based dashboard for group administrators, an API for third-party integrations (discuse-api), and automated moderation actions within Telegram groups.

2.1 Users authenticate via Telegram OAuth. You must have a valid Telegram account to use the service.

2.2 To configure the bot for a Telegram group, you must be an administrator of that group.

2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.4 You must provide accurate information when setting up and configuring the bot. Misrepresenting your identity or group ownership is prohibited.

3.1 We offer a free Basic plan with essential moderation features and usage limits, as well as premium plans (Gold, Platinum, and Ultimate) with additional features and higher limits.

3.2 Free plan users are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page. When limits are exceeded, moderation functionality may be reduced until the next billing period.

3.3 We reserve the right to modify plan features, limits, and pricing with reasonable notice to affected users.

You agree to use the service only for its intended purpose of legitimate group moderation. Specifically, you must NOT:

• Use the bot to harass, bully, or unfairly target specific users
• Abuse the API with excessive requests, denial-of-service attacks, or automated scraping
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or algorithms
• Use the service to collect user data for purposes unrelated to group moderation
• Resell or redistribute the service without written authorization
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or other technical restrictions
• Use the bot in groups that promote illegal activity

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.

5.1 We target 99.9% service uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

5.2 We depend on the Telegram Bot API and third-party infrastructure. Outages or changes to Telegram's platform may affect our service availability.

5.3 Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance through our official Telegram news channel (@tgBotAppNews) when possible.

6.1 The bot makes automated moderation decisions based on AI analysis. These decisions include warning, muting, or banning users when content exceeds configured thresholds.

6.2 False positives are possible. AI-based content analysis is not perfect, and legitimate messages may occasionally be flagged incorrectly.

6.3 Group administrators are responsible for reviewing automated moderation actions and adjusting thresholds via the dashboard. Administrators can override any automated decision.

6.4 We are not responsible for the content of messages in your groups. The bot processes content to enforce your moderation settings, but ultimate responsibility for group content lies with group administrators.

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, process, and protect your data. By using the service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

8.1 Telegram Bot App and all associated software, AI models, algorithms, documentation, and branding are the intellectual property of Telegram Bot App and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

8.2 You retain ownership of all content you create and post in your Telegram groups. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8.3 By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the moderation service.

9.1 The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9.2 We are not liable for any moderation decisions made by the bot, including false positives (legitimate content incorrectly flagged) or false negatives (harmful content not detected).

9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telegram Bot App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service.

9.4 Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10.1 Premium plans are billed on a monthly or yearly basis, as selected at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

10.2 If your group exceeds the usage limits of your current plan, overage charges may apply as described on the pricing page.

10.3 You may request a refund within 14 days of initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the service. Refund requests should be sent to support@telegram-bot.app.

10.4 We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current rate until the end of the billing period.

11.1 You may stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your groups and canceling your subscription (if applicable).

11.2 We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

11.3 Upon termination, your account data will be retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.

11.4 Termination does not affect any obligations or liabilities incurred prior to the termination date.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users through our website, bot notifications, or official Telegram channels.

Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should discontinue use of the service.
